Using a variety of visual techniques, Emily Seaton, video editor, elevates client stories to create engaging narratives. With a background in graphic design and video production, her multifaceted approach to editing allows her to be attuned to every detail of the post-production process.
What is your professional background?
I’ve been a part of video production since high school working for my school’s newspaper, so I naturally continued working for my college newspaper in both design and video during my time at South Dakota State. Throughout college, I interned for a travel nursing agency as a brand specialist and focused on video production during my time there, which eventually led me to Trilix after graduating with a degree in graphic design and minor in film studies.
What do you like to do in your free time? Any hobbies or unique talents?
Outside of work, I enjoy playing video games and board games and watching movies or TV shows. My partner and I are season ticket holders for the Seattle Sounders and the University of Washington volleyball team and like to spend our time supporting our favorite teams. When we aren’t watching soccer, we are playing in a local adult league on the weekends.
What’s your favorite film?
My favorite movie is “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” It’s funny, raw, heartbreaking and wild and one of those movies that makes you think “what did I just watch?” but in the best way possible.
