Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting:
    • Accurate Reporting: Prepare and review precise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that reflect our financial health.
    • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
    • Audit Coordination: Lead the coordination with external auditors for annual audits and the preparation of audited financial statements.
  • Accounting Management:
    • Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll, ensuring smooth and accurate operations.
    • Closing Processes: Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments to maintain accurate financial records.
    • Internal Controls: Implement and uphold internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Budget Development: Lead the creation and management of Trilix’s annual budget and financial forecasts.
    • Performance Monitoring: Track budget performance and conduct variance analysis to identify and address any financial issues proactively.
    • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and company policies, keeping Trilix in good standing.
    • Risk Mitigation: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, including maintaining appropriate insurance coverage.
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Strategic Insights: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide valuable insights that support decision-making by senior management.
    • Ad-Hoc Reporting: Prepare and deliver ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as needed to support business initiatives.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Leadership & Development: Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering their growth and performance. Oversee the Human Resources and IT teams, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
    • Collaborative Environment: Cultivate a collaborative and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Efficiency Enhancement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting and financial operations.
    • Technology Utilization: Leverage technology and automation to streamline financial processes, enhancing accuracy and speed.
    • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Clear Communication: Effectively communicate financial information to management, board members, and other key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and understanding.
    • Strategic Support: Provide financial guidance to support strategic initiatives and business decisions, helping Trilix achieve its long-term goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

  • Accounting Proficiency: Expertise in accounting software and strong knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement.
