Trilix is seeking a full-time digital communications specialist in our Des Moines, Iowa, office to lead the planning and execution of digital communications strategies and tactics for clients. Responsibilities will largely focus on strategic planning and content development for social media, email and web channels, social media management and analytics, paid social campaign management, blog writing, online review/reputation management and helping to manage client relationships. Additional duties may include podcast content strategy and planning.

Primary job responsibilities include:

  • General communications and messaging knowledge and strategy.
  • Social media strategic plan development and execution. This includes advisory services and managing, creating and publishing creative content relevant to clients and their industries. Familiarity with major social media platforms, including Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat and TikTok is required. Knowledge of social publishing tools, including Facebook Creator Studio and third-party tools like Buffer or Falcon, is a plus.
  • Creative content development, including social media content calendars, blogs, newsletters, proposals and other content for Trilix or agency clients. Working knowledge of SEO is a plus.
  • Social media analytics and advertising.
  • Reputation management experience and knowledge of online tools for review measurement is a plus.
  • Ability and desire to learn about numerous clients in varied industries, including sales processes, competitive environment, detailed product/service information, etc.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3–6 years of marketing/communications experience, including experience managing social media on behalf of a brand. Agency experience may be helpful but is not required. The ideal candidate is an exceptionally strong communicator who wants to create content for growing local, regional, national and global B2B and B2C brands. The ideal candidate is extremely self-motivated, enjoys learning new skills and keeps up with marketing and technology trends. Candidate must work independently to meet tight client-driven deadlines
