Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the development and management of our budget, financial forecasts, and strategic financial plans, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports, providing insights that drive decision-making.
- Accounting: Manage all aspects of accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, credit cards, and sales tax requirements with precision.
- Billing: Oversee employee time entries and utilize them to drive accurate and timely billing.
- Cash Flow Management: Strategically manage cash flow, investments, and financial risks to maintain our financial health.
- Operational Management:
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
- Resource Allocation: Optimize the use of resources, including staff, technology, and facilities, to support our growing operations.
- Project Management: Lead and support key business projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Strategic Planning:
- Strategic Goals: Play a pivotal role in the development and execution of Trilix’s strategic plan, driving growth and success.
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial and operational data to provide actionable insights for strategic decisions.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, policies, and standards, safeguarding our operations.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement robust risk management strategies and internal controls.
- Team Leadership:
- Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and lead finance and operations teams, including Human Resources and IT, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to support business goals and drive success across the organization.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Reporting: Effectively communicate financial and operational performance to owners and other key stakeholders.
- Negotiations: Engage with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders, negotiating to achieve favorable outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 6-8 years of experience in finance and operations management, including leadership roles.
- Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with financial software, specifically Workamajig.
