Dexter Laundry, a laundry equipment manufacturer based in Fairfield, Iowa, knows the importance of advertising. Each year, we assist the company in running a campaign to showcase its latest products. But after 2020, Dexter didn’t want to just focus on its products for the 2021 campaign. This year’s campaign highlights the organization’s strength, stability and innovation, qualities that have always been at the company’s core and led it through 2020 and into the future.

Dexter Laundry provides vended systems for businesses and organizations such as laundromats and dormitories. The company also supplies the on-premise systems hotels, hospitals, athletic facilities and other organizations use for laundering.

While the pandemic wreaked havoc on industries across the world, Dexter Laundry, an essential business, continued to innovate and provide the world with reliable, efficient systems to keep laundry clean. Its 2021 advertising campaign reflects the company’s endurance and ability to move forward.

Trilix assisted Dexter in sharing that message. First, we created an eye-catching graphic with the company’s logo and brand colors.

“It was important to highlight Dexter’s longevity and strong position as one of the pillars of the industry,” said Kerstin Ohnysty, senior art director. “We visually represented that by using Dexter’s recognizable branding. The signature Dexter blue overlaying the images of laundry systems, paired with the white and striking red text, reaffirms the organization’s dedication to manufacturing American-made products in an employee-owned company for more than 125 years.”  

Trilix helped share Dexter’s message by placing the ad, which will run through the year, in front of the company’s target markets. To do that, we tapped into the audiences of multiple trade publications and used digital advertisements to target Dexter’s potential and current customers as well as business partners.

Despite the struggles every industry faced in the last year and a half, we’ve continued manufacturing top-of-the-line laundry systems in Iowa. Now, we’re innovating for the future, and we want to celebrate that.
